i’m excedingly drawn to the bursts of blue (ranging from light turquoise to deep aqua) so omnipresent throughout kyrgyzstan. even the most monotonous of landscapes is punctuated by sprinklings of the color – a window frame here, and painted gate or a car there… i’m envisioning shyrdak to come inspired by the varying shades of blue i’ve been taking in.
